How to use seasoning paste
Welcome. Thank you for making the choice to use the most sustainable cookware in the world - cast iron and/or carbon steel. Our commitment to you is to help you become comfortable using iron cookware and learn how to pre and post season your cookware.

What is iron cookware seasoning paste (also called seasoning wax)?
Seasoning Paste is a combination of seed oil and beeswax. We use organic sunflower seed oil, non-gmo grapeseed oil and local beeswax. The paste has a consistency on shoe ploish.
Technically, unsaturated oils work better for seasoning and it’s critical that those oils have very little to zero fibre. Fibre will carbonize at a low temperature and carbon will degrade your seasoning.
