Join Chef Kakoo for a culinary tour around Northern, Southwestern, and Central India without leaving North Vancouver. You will learn Indian cooking techniques, create spice blends, and where to purchase ingredients to re-create this meal at home.
- Tandoori Chicken: drumsticks marinated in a well spiced yogurt based marinade, baked in the oven
- Vindaloo: Classical Pork preparation from South western India (Goa)
- Palak Paneer: Spinach cooked with Indian style Cottage cheese
- Shahi Tukra: Saffron and Cardamom infused Bread Pudding -Deep fried bread topped with rabri (sweet condensed milk), saffron and nuts
Demonstration with some chances for hands-on
