Meet the Chef
Meet the Chef events are our way to celebrate local chefs who contribute so much to our local food culture. Victoria has a wide array of restaurants with varying food styles. We invite a different chef into our kitchen every few weeks to talk about themselves, their business and their passion for food. The events are $25.00 per person; this cost will get you a selection of food and drink (all depending upon the chef) and a portion of revenue goes to the ICC (Island Chef’s Collaborative)

Message: I attended the Meet the Chef Foo Asian Street Food demonstration last evening and I was completely delighted with the experience. Not only was Patrick Lynch very generous with his advice, sourcing of products and techniques but the wine expert from Quail's Gate did a terrific job of pairing each dish with at least two beverage choices and the explanation for his choices. I learned far more than I had expected. Thank you.

Cooking Class Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy is to help you out as best we can. We understand that life throws curve balls every once in a while and plans need to change. Because of this our cancellation policy is:
- Cancellation 48 hours in advance – No charge
- Cancellation 24 hours to 48 hours in advance – No charge if we can fill the seat (if there is a waiting list), if not there is a possibility of up to 50% charge if supplies have been purchased for your seat
- Less than 24 hours – 50% charge, unless we can fill the seat (if there is a waiting list).

Occasionally it is necessary for us to cancel a class. We will do everything we can to give you as much notice as possible. When this occurs, we will re-book you into another class of your choice.
