Chef Dwane is a Red Seal certified Chef who has over 20 years experience working passionately in the food and catering industry. Having worked as a Chef in the film industry for 15 years he gained a wealth of experience in catering to the individual dietary and personal needs of a diverse clientele. His eye for detail and energetic and organized approach made him highly sought after by many different production managers and producers in Western Canada.
In November 2010 Dwane became the President of the Island Chef’s Collaborative aka the ICC. The ICC is a not for profit group of Island Chef’s that support our local farmers through fundraising and grant programs.
He takes great pride in promoting the beautiful bounty our Island offers. Being in the heart of the Vancouver Island food movement is the perfect location to be a chef where clients value healthy, organic, sustainable food. He launched his own catering company this year. Passioneat Foods is an ethical, grassroots company with the intention of bringing together people through the pleasure of food.
