Cosmo Meens
Chef
Co creator of Mo:le Restaurant, Cafe Bliss and the late Village Family Marketplace, Cosmo Meens has been featured in Western Living, Eat, Boulevard, Monday, Vancouver Sun and the Times Columnist. He has travelled to Hawaii and Arizona working in raw food retreats as well as being the Executive Sous-Chef at Raw Spirit Festival in Sedona, Arizona, two years in a row. He travelled to Beijing with Simon Whitfield and the the Canadian Olympic triathlete team as their Chef at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Over the last two years Cosmo has been learning the fundamentals of food production: Composting, Animal Husbandry, Mulching, Veggie Gardening, Pasture Rotation and Maintenance, Orchard Management, harvesting and storage of the fruits of a year's labour.
