The new Stove Top Smoker
Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year. The morning air becomes crisper with each day and tree leaves turn glorious shades of orange and red. And, the air smells of, well, autumn – like smoke and that first fire in the fireplace.
We had a blast with our first ever smoking and barbequing class this summer and will definitely be hosting more next summer. One of the great things about living on Vancouver Island is we’re able to grill year-around. Delicious barbequed meats and kabobs don’t end in September. And nor, for that matter, does smoking food.
One of the best new products from Zwilling recently is the Stove Top Smoker. Put a small amount of wood chips in the bottom, light, keep on low heat, add food, cover and there you have it, you can smoke food inside any time of the year. With this tool, you’ll be able to add a real autumn flavor to your dishes like fabulous smoked apples and pears to soups, sauces and chutneys. Try smoking your own salmon or trout.
A smoker could also take your thanksgiving dinner to that next level this year with smoked yams, Brussels Sprouts or this recipe from Food Network’s Alton Brown for honey brined smoked turkey.
Come by Cook Culture to check out the new Stove Top Smoker in stock, now special now for only $99.
