ICC Food Fest June 10
This Sunday, we’re looking forward to being part of the Island Chefs Food Fest at Fort Rodd Hill in Colwood. The Cook Culture crew will be there demonstrating knife techniques and chef Cosmo Meens will be serving up his delicious vegetarian lentil soup from The Hot and Cold Café in Cook Street Village (formerly the Soup Peddler).
This festival is like no other with each farmer, chef, restaurateur, brewery and winery contributing to one amazing collective food experience. Almost every ingredient in each dish or glass is locally cultivated and shared through a generous and friendly network of food industry professionals through membership in the ICC.
One of our resident instructors, Dwane MacIsaac, is president of the ICC and, well, we’re nearly as excited about this event as he is. If you’re one of the many attending, please stop by, say hello and keep your fingers crossed for sunshine!
